Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay, formerly known as Annie Idibia, captured attention at the 17th Headies Awards with her bold reintroduction to the public.

Marking her first red carpet appearance since her divorce from music legend 2Baba, Annie took to the stage as one of the night’s presenters. During her presentation, the actress and mother of two made a statement that quickly became one of the night’s talking points.

Playfully correcting herself, she said, “Annie Idi—oh, sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, I am single,” subtly throwing shade at her former husband while firmly reclaiming her identity.
