“I Want to Kill!” – Passenger Attacks Air France Flight Attendant at 32,000 Feet

An Air France flight turned into a terrifying scene after a passenger violently attacked a flight attendant mid-air, screaming “I want to kill!”

The incident happened on August 16 aboard Flight AF718, a Boeing 777-300ER heading from Paris to Dakar.

According to eyewitnesses, the female passenger began pacing the aisles and shouting before suddenly lunging at a crew member. She allegedly tried to strangle and bite the flight attendant while other passengers watched in shock.

The situation escalated so quickly that the pilots were forced to squawk 7700 — the international emergency distress code — and divert the flight back to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Upon landing, authorities immediately boarded the aircraft and escorted the woman off the plane. Air France later confirmed that the assaulted crew member received medical attention and that the flight eventually departed again for Dakar after several hours of delay.

The shocking incident has sparked fresh debate about airline safety and unruly passengers. Assaults on flight crew are considered serious crimes in France, carrying heavy penalties including possible jail time.

Air France has not yet confirmed whether the passenger will face charges, but the airline assured travelers that crew safety remains a top priority.
