‘Her Anger Is Terrible’ – Actor Monsuru Ayanfe Narrates Encounter With Funke Akindele on Set

Nollywood actor Monsuru Ayanfe has revealed a surprising experience he had with award-winning filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele during an interview with media personality Jeff Owolewa.

According to Ayanfe, the incident happened while they were on set, and he mistakenly crashed Funke’s brand-new car while trying to park it after a movie scene.

“I was only trying to park her new automobile after a scene, but I ended up crashing it,” he confessed during the interview.

The actor explained that Funke Akindele’s initial reaction was one of intense anger, describing it as “terrible.” However, he added that what shocked him most was what happened afterward.

“She was very angry at first, but later on, she calmed down and even apologised to me. I didn’t expect that,” Ayanfe revealed.

He further described Funke Akindele as someone who flares up easily when provoked but does not hold grudges.

“She’s the type who gets furious quickly but later apologises when she’s calm,” he explained.

The revelation has since sparked conversations online, with many praising Funke Akindele’s humility and her ability to admit when she is wrong — a rare quality in Nollywood.
