Prophetess Found Dead, Prayer Warriors Missing After 3-Day Fasting in the Bush

A tragic story has shaken believers in Owerri and beyond. Prophetess Ebere, who runs a ministry in Owerri, reportedly led some of her prayer warriors into the bush for a 3-day fasting and intensive prayer retreat.

What was meant to be a spiritual exercise quickly turned into a nightmare. After the 3 days ended, the prophetess and her prayer warriors did not return, sparking worry among other members of her ministry.

Days later, they allegedly received a chilling call from kidnappers, demanding ₦20 million for their release. The kidnappers reportedly refused to negotiate. Desperate to save their members, the ministry rallied the money and sent it.

Despite paying the ransom, the prophetess and her team did not return. Concerned and fearful, other members organized a search in the bush. To their horror, they reportedly found the decaying remains of Prophetess Ebere, who appeared to have been dead for some time. Shockingly, the other prayer warriors are still missing—neither dead nor alive.

This incident has sparked panic and reflection across social media. Many are warning that while prayer and fasting are powerful, safety should always come first, especially in isolated areas like forests or mountains.

Believers are urged to pray in safety and trust that God is everywhere, as the tragic loss of Prophetess Ebere underscores the security challenges in Nigeria and the risks associated with going into remote areas for spiritual activities.

The fate of the missing prayer warriors remains unknown, leaving friends, family, and followers in fear and deep sorrow. This heartbreaking story is a reminder of both faith and caution in uncertain times.
