Lady Recounts Funny Encounter with an Admirer Who Tried to Woo Her with His Expensive Phone

A young lady recently narrated a story from her 200L days that left everyone laughing at the audacity of one persistent admirer.

According to her, a guy approached her asking for her number. She politely refused, thinking that would be the end of it.

But he wasn’t ready to take “no” for an answer. In a bold and slightly absurd move, he showed up with three cameras, pointing them at her as if trying to impress or intimidate her.

“I told him again, ‘Sorry, I can’t,’ and walked away,” she recalls. But the story didn’t end there. While she stopped at a shop to grab something, the guy apparently left as well, only to catch up with her moments later.

She began hearing someone behind her saying:

“Have you seen the 2 million I sent?” Before she could react, he almost bumped into her and continued, “I’m leaving Benin tomorrow. My flight is at 10am. Tell that vendor to text me now so we can discuss the price.”

It was in that moment she realized just how audacious he had been. “What did he expect? That I should rush to him and beg him to take my number? I didn’t know whether to cry or laugh,” she said, noting that she eventually just laughed at the absurdity of the situation.
