A 55-year-old American woman has gone viral after breaking down in tears while sharing how she allegedly spent over $80,000 on her Nigerian husband, only to later discover that his sister acted as the real “wife” in their marriage.

According to the woman, she fell deeply in love with her husband, a Nigerian man she identified as Kindness. Believing she had found a genuine partner, she poured her savings and energy into supporting him.

Within just three years, she claimed to have spent more than $80,000 on his lifestyle — paying rent, buying clothes, sponsoring hotel stays, funding nights out at clubs, and even supporting his family’s daily needs.

But her heartbreak came when she realized that her sister-in-law, Goodness, was allegedly treated like the real wife in the relationship. She said the sister was so attached to her brother that she would even lie next to him wrapped in only a towel while the wife was in the shower.

The American woman said she worked hard while her husband lived a “chop life” routine, frequently spending her money on bottles, lounges, and designer items.
