Baby Dies After Mother Forgets Her in Car While Rushing to Minister at Church

A tragic incident has left a church community in mourning after a woman lost her only child — a baby she had after 8 years of waiting — during a Sunday service.
According to reports, the mother, a chorister, arrived late for service and hurriedly rushed to the altar to join the choir. In her rush, she instructed protocol members to help her bring her belongings, including her baby, from the car. The workers reportedly removed only her items, leaving the child behind.
Believing that her child had been safely taken to the children’s department, the mother continued with the service. Unbeknownst to her, the baby remained in the locked car for over six hours. Witnesses say the infant cried until she tragically suffocated.
It was only after the service that the devastating reality was discovered — the baby was still in the vehicle and had passed away.
The heartbreaking event has thrown the congregation into shock, serving as a sobering reminder of the dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles.
