Nigerian Man Abroad Faces 17-Year Jail Threat After Baby Mama Accuses Him of Sexual Assault

A Nigerian man in the UK, popularly known as Nurse Tolu, is facing up to 17 years in prison after being accused of rape by his baby mama.

Tolu, a trained nurse from Nigeria, moved to the UK in search of a better life. While there, he met a British woman, a single mother of two. Their relationship blossomed and when she got pregnant, she invited him to move into her apartment.

But life together quickly turned sour. Heated arguments became frequent, and in moments of anger, she allegedly hurled racial slurs at him. Unable to cope with the toxic environment, Tolu moved out.

After leaving, Tolu filed for custody of his child — and won. Bought his own apartment and a sense of independence, things began looking up.

Surprisingly, he later reconciled with his partner. This time, she moved into his flat along with her other children. But soon, the same problems resurfaced.

The situation took a shocking turn when police stormed Tolu’s workplace and arrested him on suspicion of rape.

The allegation came from his partner’s daughter, who claimed she woke up to find him on top of her.

If convicted, Tolu could face up to 17 years behind bars.
