Phyna Shares Cryptic Post After Sister’s Tragic Passing

Former BBNaija winner, Phyna, has broken her silence following the heartbreaking passing of her sister, who had been battling severe injuries sustained in an accident involving a Dangote trailer earlier in August.

According to reports, Phyna’s sister Ruth Otabor was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident after a trailer hit the bike she was on. The bike rider reportedly died instantly, while Phyna’s sister was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Doctors had to amputate one of her legs, but as her health worsened, both legs were eventually amputated. Despite efforts to keep her alive and provide the best medical care, her condition remained critical.

In the aftermath of the accident, there were negotiations with representatives of the Dangote group regarding compensation.

Reportedly, the demands included flying Phyna’s sister abroad for better medical care (possibly to India), supporting her children, and a ₦1 billion compensation package.

However, things turned sour between Phyna and a VeryDarkMan who was initially involved in the negotiations. He accused her of betrayal and of not carrying him along, while Phyna fired back, calling him a manipulator and liar.

Sadly, Phyna’s sister passed away yesterday morning after months of battling complications from the accident.

This morning, Phyna took to her Instagram story to share what many are calling a cryptic post. She posted a short video clip with the message:

“Somethings you got to fight for what you’ve got left, rather than to just grieve over what is gone.”

Fans have interpreted this as her way of processing grief while also signaling strength amidst tragedy.
