‘I Never Maltreated Her’ – Israel DMW Speaks Out After Ex-Wife’s Viral Club Video

Nigerian celebrity and aide to Davido, Israel DMW has reacted to a viral video of his ex-wife enjoying a night out at a club, sharing his side of the story and defending his reputation.

According to Israel, his ex-wife, Sheila, came from a religious background—he claims she was a church worker who used to preach, and her father was a pastor.

“I thought I had found a God-fearing woman. If I had known, I would have gone to the streets to pick a wife,” he said.

He expressed frustration over her behaviour, revealing that their marriage lasted less than five months, yet she is now giving advice on marriage.

Israel accused her of leading a double life:

“You will go to church in the morning but in the night you’ll go to the club. The whole world can now see the reason why she left. I never maltreated her nor beat her. She just wanted to enjoy outside.”

The reality star added that his ex-wife has “gone wild,” claiming she now smokes, something he has never done in his life. Despite her actions, Israel emphasised that he will not give up on marriage and still believes in the institution.

This revelation has sparked reactions on social media, with fans divided over the celebrity’s account and Sheila’s viral video.
